The Role:
This role provides administrative support and assistance with pharmacy operations at the veterinary clinic. Not only is this role responsible for managing a host of crucial administrative functions – including stock management and clinic maintenance, the role also contributes to providing outstanding patient care. Your helpful disposition and positive attitude helps provide the environment required excellent veterinary care to happen.
Responsibilities:
- Support Clinic Manager with stock and inventory management for Pharmacy supplies, medication and equipment. Work collaboratively with teammates to ensure stock transfer and requirements are met.
- Communicate with suppliers and report to Clinic Manager on price changes or order status.
- Perform routine laboratory testing and maintenance of laboratory machines.
- Provide administrative support for clinic team, ensuring supplies are well replenished and organized.
- Maintain stock and administrative reports to keep up the operational standard.
- Responsible for medical equipment upkeep and maintenance.
- Ensuring clinic regulations are followed with regards to general safety, hazard communications, emergency action plans and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as outlined in the Employee Handbook and safety manuals.
- Physical fitness is required to perform job functions, such as carrying boxes, lifting heavy products.
Who You Are:
- A minimum of 2 years of administrative experience.
- Any of the following skills would be advantageous:
- Prior veterinary (or medical) knowledge
- Experience in stock management
- HKDSE or equivalent
- Meticulous organizational skills.
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills (English and Cantonese)
